Tour Plan
Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam.
Upon arrival at the airport, pick up from the airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel (standard time approx. 1400 hrs.)

Visit Ba Dinh Square – the biggest square in Hanoi where all the biggest cultural, political events of the cities, especially demonstrations, take place. Start our visit at the Complex of Ho Chi Minh including Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (close on Monday and Friday), Ho Chi Minh’s house-on-stilts, his fish pond and the One-Pillar Pagoda. Then, the Temple of Literature which is considered as the first university of Vietnam.
Continue visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, locates on a small peninsula on the East side of the dazzling West Lake, this is the most ancient pagoda in Hanoi with its history line of more than 1,500 years.
Afternoon, have an overall view of the capital by leisure walking, which will go through the fascinating network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as ‘The 36 Streets’ – each street being named after the merchandise traditionally sold there, ranging from fabrics to crafts and from medicines to tombstones. Drop by Hoan Kiem Lake. Visit The Huc Red Bridge and walking around the Old Quarter streets to visit St Joseph’s Cathedral from outside.

Early Morning pick up from the hotel. Head East for more than 3.5 hours approx. to Halong Bay, the pride of the Gulf of Tonkin, a Natural World Heritage as designated by UNESCO in 1994 and 2006. Upon arrival at Tuan Chau Marina, check in a 4 hours day cruise to discover the magnificent beauty of this “Descending-dragon” bay, created by thousands odd-shaped limestone rocks and karst grottoes, where almost each islet has its own name, adopting its shape or reminiscent like Sail Island, Fisherman’s head rock, Butterfly rock or Turtle islet etc. We stop to visit Grottos, passing floating houses. Have lunch on board before returning to the pier. Disembark from the boat, transfer back to Hanoi. Your time at leisure.

Enjoy lunch at our restaurant with the great local cuisine.
Boarding a small sampan to visit Tam Coc which literally means “three caves” (1.5 hour boat trip). With Halong bay type views of majestic limestone cliffs and mysterious caves, as well as countryside landscape like peaceful streams, rice paddies and deserted green fields, Tam Coc really has it all. You will feel the fresh air and peaceful moments, very good opportunities for photo lovers, freezing the special moments and scenery.
Leisure cycling on rural roads alongside the extensive canal network and through small villages with back drop of a maze of limestone mountains.
Return to our bus and then come back to Ha Noi
Drop you off at your hotel/stay. Overnight in Hanoi.
